Citizens Action Forum launches “Give Corruption in BMC the finger” campaign

Citizens Action Forum, Mumbai has launched an awareness campaign targeted at the local municipal elections in Mumbai. The theme of the campaign is: Give Corruption in BMC the finger. Says F Remedios, spokesperson and convener of Citizens Action Forum, “We have launched a poster campaign against corruption in the BMC and urge voters to stamp out corruption by coming out of their homes and voting for the right candidates. This is a non-political campaign and is supported by several well-known personalities from all walks of life.”
The first photo poster campaign released by Citizens Action Forum features various Bollywood personalities like 16-year-old singer and performer Pranali Kakodar, social worker Prasad N Kakodkar, fashion designer and stylist Aarti Vijay Gupta and Dj Jenny D. The 16-year-old Pranali Kakodar will release her debut music video and album Ha Sparsh – Love at first Touch very soon. She has sung some of the tracks herself, but the album also features other singers like Vaishali Sawant, Kunal Ganjawala, Rahul Vaidya, etc who have lent their voice to some of the tracks in the music album. The campaign has been shot by photographer Vinit Bhatt with makeup support by Umesh.
